As you have already been informed, that to become a Mediator, one need to undergo a 40
hours training, so in this blog I will try to enlighten you about the rules, procedures, duration and various institutes and organisations along with approximate costs for undergoing various courses of mediation training.(i)
40 hours Mediation Training;

All
these training courses are generally conducted in coordination with the concerned
High Courts and/or State Legal Services Authorities and by far all of these courses are absolutely
free of cost as the Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Court Committees and/or State Legal Services Authorities bear all the expenditure in this regard and
the candidates/participants need not have to pay anything to undergo these courses.

v Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India, also conducts a 45 hours Training on Commercial Mediation & Negotiation. It is a 6 days programme. The course fee is about Rs. 42,480/- for the Indian nationals and USD $625 for the international participants.
